Sneak preview
Next semester we will start again with a new group of young professionals and a mix of already connected and new field partners. The challenges will focus on:
– Prospect Eleven and Poortstage have provided the challenge: how to strengthen the local music ecosystem in Amsterdam Zuidoost
– The challenge: how can the value chain from production to the sale of vinyl records be made more sustainable? Has been put forward by Music Innovation Lab
– Elrow and C/O pop has asked the IMI lab to tackle the challenge: during the Covid pandemic, a new type of rave culture emerged. How can established parties relate to this new underground culture? And, what can they learn from this culture in terms of attracting new audiences and new talent?
– And IMI lab will also partner up again with Utopia to adress: what will music copyright look like in 2050?
